Safe Routes Driving & Parking Etiquette

Our school is 1 of 3 schools on Butterfield Road and has limited campus parking.  In an effort to ease congestion and be green, we ask families to take a GREEN WAY TO SCHOOL AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE (bus, carpool, ride or walk).

Driving?  Please park on Butterfield Road and walk into campus.  It’s a wonderful opportunity to spend 5 minutes with your child, be active, say hello to the crossing guard and chat with friends.

**IT IS FASTER TO WALK INTO CAMPUS THAN IT IS TO SIT IN GRIDLOCK ON GREEN VALLEY COURT!**

Biking? Always walk bikes on Green Valley Ct.  No scooting or riding pedals.

Turning Circle?  Use the turning circle for urgent pick up and drop off only.  Idling cars congest Green Valley Ct and are an unnecessary pollutant.  Turn your engine off if waiting in line.  Please be conscious of the school bus, and keep entrance to the school clear.** IDLING FOR MORE THAN 10 SECONDS USES MORE GAS THAN IF YOU TURNED YOUR CAR OFF AND THEN ON AGAIN**

PLEASE TAKE CARE WHEN DRIVING & PARKING SO THAT KIDS TAKING GREEN WAYS TO SCHOOL CAN GET TO SCHOOL SAFELY.
